Public Forum #1 Held March 25, 2014
The first NSF Dahlgren JLUS public forum was held at the at the University of Mary Washington's Dahlgren on Tuesday March 25, 2014. The purpose of this forum was to introduce and explain the JLUS process to the public, provide an overview of the compatibility factors that the JLUS process will assess, and obtain public input into the identification of preliminary compatibility issues.
The interactive forum provided attendees an opportunity to to respond to survey questions and to interact with the project team in order to gain input from the community about potential land use planning issues concerning NSF Dahlgren and the jurisdictions engaged in the JLUS. Meeting attendees received a project overview and compatibility factors fact sheet. Materials distributed during this meeting and the results of survey questions can be accessed below:
